Summary

The project addresses its objective by focusing on the production side of the Laos PDR coffee value chain, promoting the adoption of more resource-efficient processes by cofffee producers and their organizations (MSMEs), increasing their resilience to climate change and integrating them in global greener value and supply chain.

Project Objectives

The objective of the project is to support the development of a green, low varbon, resource-efficient and more circular economy, and to contribute to poverty reduction in Lao. The specific objective is to develop and adopt more resource-efficient, gender inclusive and climate change resilient production in Lao PDR, by increasing their integration in a greener global value chain.
