Project Objectives
Sobakantha comes under the consortium project in which 50 organizations work together to achieve a common goal. The project is implemented with Sobakantha since 2018 in Dondra Divisional Secretariat in the Matara district, Sri Lanka. This project contributes to the five areas of the country programme: Organisational development, Sustainable agriculture, Business development & financial inclusion, Gender equality promotion and Social Inclusion & reconciliation. Project objective: Empowering the fisheries families with modern technology, gender and Cooperative theory.
