Expected results are: Strengthened organisational capacity, accountability and strategic direction - NFF has improved financial and administrative systems - NFF is known as promoter of gender equality and HRBA in rural development - Increased information and education among farmers in Macedonia and the Region - Cooperative model and other forms of farmer economic organisations are promoted - The work on social and economic inclusion of focus groups for small-scale farmers, minorities and youth is increased - Improved capacity of the organisation to lobby and advocate on local and national level based on HRBA - Developed lobby and advocacy initiatives for climate change, subsidies system and contract farming - Strengthen the strategic focus on Gender Equality within Sustainable Rural Development - Partners facilitate access to financial services and access to land for women - Increased number of women on leadership position in the management and membership of the organisation.
The project aims at strengthening NFF as an active organisation representing and acting as voice of their members and providing quality services to their members, with strong emphasis on gender equality, poverty and human rights in rural areas in Macedonia.
