Promoting Equality in Coffee Enterprises (PECE)

The project aims to strengthen the union and affiliates to be able to practice gender equality and offer demand driven services - scale-up advocacy and engagement of the duty bearers to develop & review legislation and policies to become gender sensitive, improve agricultural productivity and food security for increased incomes - improve the farmers capacity to adapt to climate change and increase environmental sustainability - increase participation of women and young people in leadership and decision-making, increase women participation in productive social-economic activities, increase access to affordable financial services for women, young people and men members and increase access to micro-insurance products and services by the farmers.
