Summary

HEQ is a five-year USAID funded activity (2023-2028) to increase community resilience and cooperative business performance, improve the cooperative enabling environment in Kenya and to increase access to design strategies and solutions that advance Universal Health Coverage (UHC) globally, by sharing lessons and exploring potential to create impact in Kenya and with partners more broadly.  HEQ will increase the demand for and access to care with improved health outcomes within a health system that is responsive to all people.  

HEQ will advance cooperative sustainability through technical support provided to government and ministry leaders, coordinating with CDOs and capacity building for health cooperative leaders to increase access to care and improve health outcomes for their members.
