Summary
Vision Refugees and host communities in complex and volatile environments will prosper together in a sustainable and resilient way. Mission To strengthen the individual and systemic social-economic resilience in mixed communities living in complex and volatile environments through income-generating activities, community development processes, and capitalizing on Israeli and local technology, innovation, and expertise. Project objectives Livelihood opportunities, production, and income are increased equally for all communities in the locality through sustainable agriculture Social cohesion, participation, and collaboration are increased within and between communities in the locality Social resilience is increased by stronger social and economic ties and collaborative shared structures in the community. Who are the beneficiaries Communities of smallholder farmers in low-income countries living in high vulnerability (due to climate change, political instability, food insecurity) and in complex and volatile environments with mixed-faith and languages. The focus will be on women and young men with an interest in changing their lives and developing their community. Theory of change If communities learn and work together regardless of race, faith, or language, and develop and strengthen formal and informal groups and institutions while improving their livelihood conditions, they will become more resilient and prosperous with the right to greater access to services.
