Project Objectives

The project is implemented in Anuradhapura, Rathnapura, Mannar and Matara districts in Sri Lanka. The project aims to contributes to sustainable and just socio economic development of women and men small holder food producers, targeting 800 women and 600 men small holder farmers from above mentioned locations. The project works to ensure farmers rights by influencing national and provincial level policy makers through organized 40 small holder food producers groups. The project directly work with selected farmers groups in project locations and will organized them into a network and build capacity of the network to advocate policy makers and to create enabling environment to provide improved servies to their member farmers.
