Project Objectives

Mainly, the project aims to strenghten partner cooperatives of FARMCOOP in Sibulan Ancestral Domain and Agrarian Reform Beneficaries in Agusan de Sur towards institutionalization of gender equality as a fundamental value in development choices and institutional practice. In the process, the project hopes to enhance women’s participation in the governance and management of their organizations - in sustainable production and in the value chain of commodities their produce - and in policy-making to develop their specific communities and the agrarian reform beneficiaries and indigenous peoples in general.
