Summary

In order to achieve the programme's goals the project aims to strengthen the Alliance and affiliates so that they can practice equality in service delivery to their members - enhance advocacy and engagement of the duty bearers to develop & review legislation & policies to become gender sensitive, improve farm productivity and food security for increased farm returns, enhance resilience to climate change and environmental sustainability, enhance access to affordable financial services for women, young people and men members increase access to micro-insurance products and services by the farmers, increase participation of women & young people in leadership and decision-making and increase women participation in productive social-economic activities.

Project Objectives

The goal of the project is to increase farm productivity and incomes through enhanced participation of women and young people in agricultural production by 2022.
