Project Objectives

The project is being implemented to enhance value chain of selected farm commodities led by women and men farmers' organisations with professionalized management, promoting gender equality and climate change adaptive farming system for long lasting socio-economic growth of the target group. It is being implemented in the province of Negros Occidental, specifically, in municipalities of Calatrava and Don Salvador Benedictor, and in the city of San Carlos. The project promotes climate adaptive production technologies, financial inclusion by strengthening group savings and investment associations - processing by supporting the Agricultural Producers Cooperative and marketing by strengtehing the Negros Agricultural Entreprenuers and Marketing Cooperative.
