The project will sustain and expand the gains of the Farmers Fighting Poverty through Cacao, Coffee, Coconut, and Banana Enterprises (FFP thru 3CBEs) which has promoted cooperation in value chain development among farmers organizations engaged in cacao, coffee, coconut, and banana production. The main component of the project is the development and upscaling of agri-based enterprises from the production of inputs, to production of commodities, to processing and marketing of the commodities. For this period, the project will explore getting involved in the value chain systems of other commodities. The enterprise development components will be supported by the strengthening of the governance and management structures and systems of the participating farmers organizations and advocacy and lobbying of policies that support rights and interests of the farmers organizations.
