Summary
This project will ensure that there is increased participation of women and young people in the development projects being implemented in Uganda. It is expected that this project will support partners within rural development and adequate housing sectors to enhance their attention towards meaningful participation of women as well as participation in relevant gender equality forums.
Project Objectives
This project aims at enhancing the capacity of We Effect's partner organizations in Uganda to analyse and integrate gender equalty perspectives into their development work. Further, this partner will take the lead in advocating for necessary policy and legislative changes within the country to ensure that they are gender responsive.
