Summary

Kwasans—which means “growth” in Creole—is an initiative dedicated to strengthening women’s economic empowerment in southern Haiti. The project is focused on inclusive and sustainable growth by improving access to tailored financial services for women-led micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs).

Through targeted technical support, Kwasans works closely with partner financial institutions to build their capacity, integrate gender equality into their practices, and offer innovative financial solutions that meet the specific needs of women entrepreneurs.

By fostering a more inclusive financial ecosystem, Kwasans helps create sustainable opportunities for women entrepreneurs and stimulate local economic development.
