Summary

PRODISOL will work with Mayan women and youth to promote the acquisition of useful knowledge and skills for the development of economic activities in sectors related to tourism, as well as improve their access to and control over resources for the development, consolidation and growth of their business opportunities. and decent work, in particular through economic support, the reduction of barriers to access to specialized training and awareness-raising activities on women's labor rights, gender equality and positive masculinities. The project will contribute to improving the structuring of an offer of products and services, through inclusive, regional, sustainable and profitable collective enterprises, in favor of the generation of decent work activities for Mayan women and young people and their effective participation in the decision making. It will improve the practices of public and private actors in favor of inclusive economic development and respect for the rights of Mayan women.
