Project Objectives

SACAU is a membership-based regional farmers’ organisation representing the common interests of farmers in southern Africa. It currently has 19 member national farmers’ associations in 12 countries in southern Africa. SACAU is committed to a transformative agenda to agricultural development which is growth oriented and enterprise development focused. Core to its existence is promoting, advancing, protecting, and defending the common interests of farmers in the region.
