People at the Centre of Policymaking

The project aims to create an enabling policy environment in the Philippines for gender equality, sustainable rural development and provision of adequate housing through sustained advocacy intervention. This will be done by 1) fostering relationships with policy champions in Congress. 2) enhancing the capacities of We Effect partners and their members in legislative advocacy and mobilizing them in lobbying and campaigns. Ultimately, the project hopes to achieve legislative reforms that will strengthen government policies, structures, programmes and increase budgetary allocations for these policy issues.
