	Project Objectives
The project aims to build the capacities of women activists and their organisations in Sri Lanka to hold duty-bearers accountable in ensuring socio, economic, cultural and political rights of women in Sri Lanka, especially in relation to their right to land and other natural resources. The project will be implemented by two organisations: Law and Society Trust and Savisthri Women for Development Alternative. The intervention methodology of the project is to empower women to play a major role in policies and laws that affect their lives and livelihood
