Summary
The initiative is called "Space of care: opening paths, weaving unity from a harmonious environment for the healing of indigenous women of Cauca", represented in the house of care, harmonization and comprehensive care for women and the family as a space for weaving, formation, welcome and accompaniment for indigenous women and for the healing of violence. This proposal is born from the need to have a place where activities can be developed for indigenous women from their own feeling and thinking, which allow greater recognition of their rights and transform the pain caused by the multiple violences, taking into account the law of origin and the plan of life of the indigenous peoples from the integral perspective and preserving as a starting point the territory to transform the disharmonies that prevent the good life of their bodies and minds. This care space will allow, in addition to accompanying and welcoming indigenous women victims of violence, to welcome and accompany women leaders, along with their children if necessary, who are at risk or threatened and who must leave their territories.
