Summary

The Project Objective is that “By the end of 2027, PACU Strengthen its capacity to be the voice for its members, provides a quality of services and contributes to right to food with special focus on women and youth”. The support through this project gives the base for PACU and its cooperatives to becoming sustainable services providers in their communities and contribute to the long-term development in Palestine. It is expected that membership in cooperatives and PACU will be positively impacted.

 

Project Objectives

Outcome 1: PACU influences national policies for a better enabling environment for the cooperative agricultural sector. Addressing member’s needs and advocating for their rights is another core of cooperative work. PACU is the umbrella body for all cooperatives in Palestine, and it actively work to be the voice of these cooperative in influencing polices and decision makers.

Outcome 2: Enabled agricultural cooperatives that provide quality of efficient, effective and sustainable services.

Outcome 3: Strengthening the institutionalization and organization capacities of PACU towards the aspirations of the members and the international cooperative principles
