Project Objectives

The National Association of Women Organisations in Uganda targets four partner organisations working with We Effect in Uganda implementing rural development and adequate housing projects to ensure that gender equality and women empowerment components are strongly entrenched. It will ensure that the capacities of partners are enhanced in gender mainstreaming and implementing women focused empowerment initiatives. This partner will facilitate partners' participation in advocacy forums related to their sectors. The partner will ensure increased visibility of We Effect partners in gender equality and women's empowerment forums. Further it will result to increased number of women and young people participating in rural development, housing and habitat sectors.
