Summary

The project supported the cooperatives in protecting their work through distribution conditional cash supports, supporting the cooperatives considering the economic collapse and provide its services better for members and the public, which contributes to the development of the cooperatives. The project results achieved: 1. Three (3) Producer cooperatives (101 members) supported, including new production line, maintenance of equipment and supply of raw materials to provide their members with high quality, reliable and resilient services. Bent Areef co-operative society for food processing (50 members) has a new production line (grinder) to produce spices that will provide to local market & restored food manufacturing activities by purchasing raw materials and maintaining the solar energy system that operates the food industry equipment. Rafah Agriculture Cooperative Society (36 members) has a Hybrid Chicken Breeds farm for production Chicken which will provide to local market. Zeina Cooperative for Handicraft (15 members) re-running the carpentry and sewing workshop. 2. 48 Job opportunities created for women (through the supported cooperatives).
